We are incredibly grateful to The Ark Vet, and especially to Vanessa and Thomas, for the care they gave our baby Mackenzie during the final week of her life. She was looked after with such compassion and professionalism, and we were kept updated twice a day, every day, on how she was doing. They truly did everything they could for her. When the time came, they gave us the most gentle, respectful space to be with her — allowing her to be held in our arms, surrounded by love, as she passed. For that, we will be forever thankful. It takes special people to care for dogs who become such a deep part of our lives, and we are so grateful to have had that care when we needed it most. Mackenzie was pure light — gentle, curious, and full of love — and she touched every heart she met, right until the very end.

Absolutely amazing vets they gave me an appointment today when I needed for my dogs ear the lady couldn’t be more helpful you don’t get it in many vets that take you in straight away I couldn’t be more appreciated

Rudest receptionist I have ever spoken to. Didn’t make the appointment as if this is how you’re treated just trying to make an appointment, it doesn’t bode well.

I never forget the way I was treated. My beautiful lovely dog 🐕 elvis passed away. I brought my beautiful dog elvis he was very sick and week 😢 💙 💔. They had no sympathy for me loosing 💔 😢 my beautiful dog elvis broke my Hart. I would not advise anyone to take there pets to them. I'm still very up set.

Our cat becomes extremely distressed at vet visits, and afterwards following previous practices using crush cages etc. Vanessa has been absolutely fantastic with our little fella, she managed to get his vaccine done this week without sedation, gabapentin seemed to work, he has been in much better form compared to previous appointments with other vets. I am regretting not bringing him to Ark Vets sooner. Thanks Vanessa for your professionalism and being so kind and understanding to our much loved Alfie. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful veterinary hospital with great staff here in Kerry.
